Aerial: weirdly shaped rocks called “Tofu Rock” in Yakushima Island, Japan

Our Collection

Aerial shot of Yakushima Island. Long shot of Tofu Rock on the summit of Mt. Koban (1,711 m). Zoom in to get a close-up shot of the weirdly shaped rock formation, which is so named owing to its resemblance to sliced tofu. Yakushima Island is one of the Osumi Islands, which are part of Kagoshima Prefecture, southern Japan. The island was designated as a natural World Heritage site in 1993.
