Underwater footage in the Kerama Islands. Broadclub cuttlefish (Sepia latimanus) spawning in the sea off the Kerama Islands. Female clutching an egg in its tentacles and moving slowly through the water. This large species of cuttlefish, common to Okinawa, grows to more than 50 cm in size. It lays its eggs (measuring about 3 cm across) on particular types of stony corals.
