Our Collection

Yakushima island lies in the ocean 60km south from the southernmost part of Kyushu. In Yakushima, the steep mountains rise directly from its coastline and you can see various flora and fauna from the subtropics to tropics. In the hillside woods, you can find the symbol of Yakushima, “Yaku-sugi (cedar)” which is said to survive several thousand years.
Giant cedar trees, close up shot of Yakushima monkeys (Japanese macaques) and Yakushima tree shrouded in fog.
